One of my fellow panelists who writes both romance and women's fiction said the main difference between those two is in the first a woman falls in love with a man and in the second (while she may have a relationship) she falls in love with her own life.Sophie Perinothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08034725608525210673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9133365763100301977.post-85573021215467594122012-10-09T16:27:14.899-04:002012-10-09T16:27:14.899-04:00I think the biggest difference between women's...I think the biggest difference between women's fiction and historical romance is that in fiction stories, the story is at the center and romance is secondary, whereas in historical fiction it's more romance driven. Women'...That's such an interesting topic!!
Women's fiction is such a hard to define genre but really I think that for me to call it that, Women should be at the center of the narrative, and the story shouldn't be a romantic love story, but more about the woman's life and, like you mention, about her falling in love with her own life.

Thanks so much for this post, :) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
