Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine, and it is a way to show off the books you can't wait to be released!!
This week I chose:
"Palace of Spies"
by Sarah Zettel
HMH Books for Young Readers
Release Date: Nov 5, 2013
The following description is from goodreads.com:I love historical YA and this looks like such a different time period than what is usually available!
A warning to all young ladies of delicate breeding who wish to embark upon lives of adventure: Don't.
Sixteen-year-old Peggy is a well-bred orphan who is coerced into posing as a lady in waiting at the palace of King George I. Life is grand, until Peggy starts to suspect that the girl she's impersonating might have been murdered. Unless Peggy can discover the truth, she might be doomed to the same terrible fate. But in a court of shadows and intrigue, anyone could be a spy—perhaps even the handsome young artist with whom Peggy is falling in love...
History and mystery spark in this effervescent series debut.
What are you waiting for this week???

I'm looking forward to reading this one! I love that cover, it's so cute. Great WoW choice!
ReplyDeleteI almsot requested this one the other day but I'm SO far behind in my reading. Sounds cute though.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on NetGalley and wanted to request it, but like so many other bloggers, I'm sooo behind schedule!! LOL. It looks so good, and I'm digging the cover. Great choice, thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read this one too because of the historical setting and the spy part. I love Y.S. Lee's Agency series set in the Victorian era and I hope this one will be just as good. I haven't read any YA historical fiction set in this time period yet. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I saw this once before, forgot the title so I couldn't add it to my Goodreads! Awesome pick, and thanks ;)
ReplyDeleteNinja Girl

ReplyDeleteCool cover! I didn't know Sarah Zettel was writing YA. I've read her historical fantasy books.
