Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser Tuesday pick:
" She could do as she pleased at home, thank goodness. Locals expected her to be eccentric. "
p 19 ARC of "The Landlord's Black-Eyed Daughter" by Mary Ellen Dennis
good for that I bet
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I wonder why. Great teaser.
ReplyDeleteNice teaser!
ReplyDeleteIs this based on The Highwayman? I think I remember seeing a review of it in Romantic Times. Great teaser!
ReplyDeleteOkay never mind-my question was answered by taking a closer look at the cover :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cover and great title! I recognize the poem. I think I actually memorized it once. I hope you are enjoying the book.
ReplyDeleteI have two again this week. My first teaser is from The Dragon's Tooth by N. D. Wilson and my second is from Evil Ways by Justin Gustainis. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteMy teaser this week is from ‘Drop Dead Divas’ by Virginia Brown.
Good teaser. I've been seeing this book all over the place, but I gotta tell you, that title throws me. It just sounds strange to me. Hope you're enjoying the book! This week I've got a teaser and an international giveaway for EROMENOS.
ReplyDeleteLOL I like this girl he speaks of already.
